Genshin Impact 5.2; Release Date, Banners, and Primogems

Genshin Impact 5.2 Natlan update: Features, Map, Chasca and Ororon And Events

Genshin Impact getting a patch 5.2 on the 20th of November 2024, Featuring Chasca and Ororon, a new area, rerun banners and events.

1st phase Character Banners (20 Nov- 11 Dec 2024)

Travellers will be getting two new playable characters in the Genshin Impact 5.2 patch Chasca (5-star)and Ororon (4-star). I will give brief details about which character to choose and which to skip for F2P travellers.

Chasca: The new 5-star character Chasca known by the Ancient Name Vuka, from the Flower Feather Clan of Natlan, will debut on November 5.2 Patch. She is an Anemo Bow character, a DPS character with a unique play style, and she is going to be the best exploration character in Natlan, to know about her kit and play style click on the here.

Ororon: He is a 4-star electro-bow character, He comes from the Night-Wind clan. He is 1st playable character from this clan. He is also a buffer character, to know more about Ororon click here.

Lyney: He is another 5-star bow character sharing a banner with Chasca, Leney is a pyro character and he is from Fountaine, who debuted on the 4.0 patch. He is considered one of the best bow characters. He is also a big damage dealer but requires mono Pyro teams. Lyney is a fun-to-play character in the game.

2nd phase character banners (11 Dec 2024 - 1 Jan 2025)

Zongli and Neuvullette Banner

2nd phase is shared by two dragons Zongli and Neuvillette.

Zongli: Zongli is Arcon of  Geo also known as the God of contract, Zongliis is a Polem user, also considered the best shielder in Genshin Impact. He is easy to play and his Ultimate skill gives the best damage and stops all the characters from moving for around 2-3 seconds. He is good at farming stones, and if you are a new Traveller you may consider the God of geo/contract Zongli. 

• Weapon: His best 5-star weapons are (level 90-R1)
• The staff of Homa- Base damage of 608 with sub-state Crit DMG 66.2% and HP of the wielder is less 50% attack is increased by 1% passive 
• Engulfing Lightning- Base damage 608 with substate 55.1% energy recharge, the wielder gains 28% of attack increase and gains 30% ER for 12 seconds.
• Vortex Vanquisher (signature weapon)- Base attack of 608 with Substate 49.6% Atk and passive makes wielder shield stronger by 20%

• Best 4-star weapons (Level 90-R1)
• Favonius Lance: Base attack of 565, Substate of 27.6% Energy Recharge passive 60% chance of generating energy particles.
• Rightful Reward (Craftabel after Fountien quests): Base attack of 565 and substate 27.6% HP passive skill when the wielder is healed, restore 8  energy.
• Black tassel (3-star): Base attack 354 with sub-state of 46.9% HP, passive increase damage against slimes.

Neuvillette: Neuvillatte is Hydo Dragon, the Judge of Fountaine, he is a Catalyst 5-star character and one of the best DPS characters even after the release of Mualani with the best functions, he uses his HP as both his damage calling and as currency for augmenting the damage of the abilities even further.

• Best 5-star (at level 90-R1)
• Tome of the Eternal Flow(signature weapon): Base attack of 542 with substate 88.2% Crit DMG passive skill of 8 energy restoration.
• Last Prayer to the Sacred Wind: This is a 5-star weapon featured in Standard Banner, Base attack of 608, substate of 33.1%, and passive skill it increases movement speed by 10% and also increases 8% elemental DMG bonus every 4 seconds.
• Best 4-star weapons (at level 90-R1) 
• prototype Ambar (Craftabel Monsted weapon): Base attack of 510, substate 41% HP and passive skill all party members will regenerate 4% HP every 2 for this duration.

All characters in 5.2 are impressive, according to my experience. I'll suggest you to get 

1. Neuvillette 
2. Zongli 
3. Chasca 
4. Lyney

Choose a character according to your liking, each character has strengths and weaknesses. In the previous update, we received a few teleport points/area unlock now it is easy to farm for newer characters and weapons.

Events and Primogems

This Ganshin Impact 5.2 is considered a filler patch but we are getting new regions and characters and that is why having Primogems is equally important if we look at the upcoming 5.3 patches where Pyro Arcon Mauvika will be releasing, some F2P players may want to save for her. let's how much Primogems we can save?

1st phase

Due to the patch update, we will be getting 600 Primogems and after completing 20 days of Daily Commission we will get 20x60 which means 1200 Primogems

Imaginarium Theater will give 800 Primos which is resetting on December 1st, and Abyss Stages will also give 800 Primos (which will be resetting tonight 15 November 2024)

Exploration reward for unlocking new teleportation areas and a new chest will roughly give us 2100 Primos and I hope there will be more than I expect.

There will be limited-time area exploration which will give 400 Prigmos and from the story quest we may get 220 additional Primogesms and 1 extra Intertwined Fate (160).

There will be a few extra world quests because of new region is unlocked, so we can expect to achieve around 500-600 Primogems.

From the character trail, we will get 20 Primos from each 5-star character so a total of 80 Primos including both phases 1 and 2.

Now from Main Events Spirit Seeking Scroll, we may have at least 800-1000 Primogems as usual, 420 from "Adventurer's Trails: Metamorphosis"

The shop is going to reset on the 1st of December we can get 5 Intertwined Fate forms there which is 800 Primogems.

if we calculate from phase 1 we may get around 8260 which is considered 50 Wishes.

2nd Phase

Again, after completing 20 days of Daily Commission we will get 20x60 which means 1200 Primogems

Abyss Stages will also give 800 Primos which will be resting on the 16th of December

The second side event "Exercise Surging Strom" and 3rd side event "Clow Conboy" will give around 840 Primogems

The character trial run will give you an extra 40 Primogems. In the end, Genshin will release 3 redeem codes for the 5.3 patch, which will give you 300 Primogems.

and if you play web event and log in for 1 month event you may roughly get 100-150 Prigmos extra

So I can say we may get 3500 Primos for the second phase and if a total of both phases Primogems, we may get 11,760 Prigmos

Conclusion

All the characters from Patch 5.2 are extremely good; you won't regret pulling any of them. If you are saving for 5.3 characters, you will be getting soft pity through the Genshin 5.2 events and explorations.
